As you may know, finding and keeping homeowners insurance is tougher than ever, not just in California, but nationwide. Carriers are pulling back, and many homeowners are seeing their policies non-renewed. I speak from experience as a member of our family has currently been informed her insurance will not be renewed.
The good news: The insurance agent I refer to recently put out a flyer with helpful information, I’m including it here and hope you find it helpful as you can take steps to improve your chances of staying covered.
Remember to keep receipts, permits, photos, and even a home inventory of updates to share with insurers.
