Local Bay Area Business – Julie’s British Bakery
As you may know, I have an amazing sweet tooth with a preference for English and Indian yummies, which is not surprising since those countries are where I’m from 🙂 Recently, a link was shared with me and it was to Julie’s British Bakery, a home bakery in San Jose! Once I saw the photos of scones, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, and more, I was lost!!! I immediately placed an order and headed off to meet the owner, Julie, who is a total sweetheart. Needless to say, I’ve since been back and my latest order included mince pies and, yes, she makes traditional Christmas cakes too, a perfect gift for yourself or a friend (and, yes, I did order two!).
I love to support local businesses and I love the taste of home cooking.
